A new subdivision is coming to Durham. Although there are many who despise "sprawl" and adding subdivisions to Durham, this sounds like a good project. I can't imagine that the design will be praised, but there is a need for more housing. More housing stock can help keep prices in check. With prices in the low $200k, these will provide a great opportunity for 200 families to buy a home!

Personally, I love everything that downtown Durham has to offer, but I also think that some people overlook the role that suburbs can play in the development of the city. Different people have different wants and needs. Durham is special because it has a great downtown, suburban living, and even great rural farmland, all within striking distance!
